Just like the saying "no pain,no gain".
You won't achieve anything if you don't make any effort.

ごめん、これから英語で書く。ちょっとだけ日本語があるかもしれない。

This summer vacation, there will be a 9 day immersion English course at Daisen. This course will not just teach you about speaking and listening, but also will teach you how to debate and do presentation in English. It's a very good opportunity to improve your English skill since it's all done in English especially to those who will be participating in the English presentation competition.

Now, I'm going to talk about an entirely different thing.

This summer vacation, I'm planning to do some internships. Finding company where you want to do your internship and what kind of things you wanted to do is quite hard. But, the hardest of all is to write self-introduction(自己PR) and curriculum vitae(履歴書). Because you have to know your strong points and appeal them to the person reading it. When writing your self-introduction, not only do you have to write about your strong points but also a story where you actually used those strong points of yours. In other words, you have to remember back what great or amazing things you have done and write those down. It's not only limited to how you used the strong points that you have in doing something, but it also could be an event where you achieve another strong point by doing something. To me, it's really hard because I have quite a bad memory so I can't really remember much. In conclusion, from these experiences, I had learnt not to sell yourself short and also to be more independent. Not to mention, I  also need to improve my memory.haha..

That's all from me.Thank you for reading this article.

If there anything you don't understand, please be free to ask me.

Bye bye.

Ps: Writing this blog was really hard and tiring. I ended up writing it 3 times before i finally figured out how to save it and all.

Thank you for posting, Lisa!! Good job!

I also think Daisen English program is nice and effective for everyone, although I don't have enough money to join haha!
And you know I am still junior and am looking for an interesting internship too. Are you planning to take the chances in your country? If in Japan, you already have a big advantage and just show your passion!! In addition, just consult with me and ONYXIS members!!

Anyway I hope to see you in Tottori soon!!

Lisa! Thank you for posting! It's so inspiring^^

I do agree with you. Writing your own ideas and experience is so hard. But I think the process that finding your strong point linking your experiences is so important.
Although I don't have to write curriculum vitae, sometimes I write my experiences of some terms and think about what I gained through those experiences.

Thank you for the comments, both of you.

Kai, I'm planning to do internship in Japan and also work here. I think it's still not time for me to go back to Malaysia yet. I don't think I have a big advantage at all, because when you enter the working world, you are not by yourself. All of your work are connected one way or another with other people. Also passion is not enough without actions. You can get nothing done with just passion, just like what you posted.
Thank you for the offer. I'll make sure to make use of it. See you soon too.

Ryu, I think that's a really nice idea. It's just like writing a diary if I'm not wrong, right? I'm not really good with writing a diary but it's a good way to keep track of all of the things you have done in your life. I'll be sure to practice it more from now on. Thank you.
